Explore this privately own family obsession that first began from a bare paddock in 1979. Enjoy the visual delights of this diverse garden featuring cold climate plants and the families love of stonework. This two hectare country garden is located on the beautiful North West Coast of Tasmania.
Enjoy home-made morning and afternoon tea $12 pp or Light Lunch $25 pp featuring home-made bread, home-made soup and a choice of dessert and tea or coffee. Seating up to 50 guests in two dining room rooms and pet friendly seating available on the veranda.
Masses of seasonal produce grown in the garden and transformed in the kitchen. Homegrown vegetables providing warming soups and couple with home-made bread and the masses of soft fruit created into cakes, sorbet and jams.
Blueberry Lane is its most productive mid-January till mid-April with fresh blueberries available.

Enjoy this 2 ha family obsession full of rare bulbs and plants complimented by their love of stonework and hard landscaping.
From daffodils and frittilaria in the spring to mass peonies, Wisteria Pavilion and the abundance of the vegetable garden in summer.
Autumn brings the brilliant kaleidoscope of the maples’s turning red, yellow and orange .
Garden entry is $10 pp for adults, accompanied children free. Includes printed Garden guide with map. Dogs on leads are welcome. Garden visitors are also welcome to relax inside and view a DVD showing the four seasons at Kaydale as well as a book on the history of the garden being constructed.
Established in 1979 on a rural property of 70 ha the family have created a garden brimming with interest.
Explore unique features such as Pear Walk, Zen Garden, Wisteria Pavilion, large scale Rockery and more.
The garden has been designed, built and maintained by the family with no volunteers, no grants, just the occasional excavator.
A must to stay
Enjoy warm, comfortable country house accommodation. Stroll the gardens at sunset and wake up to the birds enjoying the sun rise.
Choose from in-house bed-and-breakfast accommodation or the self-contained garden cottage.

Ground floor unit featuring queen bed, kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, TV, wood heater and continental breakfast provisions includes Garden entry. No wifi.
The open plan unit also features a double sofa bed and a double Murphy bed. Additional guest is $50 per person.

Upstairs guest rooms feature Tasmanian timbers, ensuite and TV with a communal lounge. Wifi available.
